September 2025 Newsletter

Good evening, friends! The moms in the house have been enjoying the cooler temperatures by taking walks with staff and quiet moments on the patio for reflection time and prayer. It's a new season and we are excited to share it with you.

When Knowing of God Turns into Experiencing Him

Gathered around the table for a time of fellowship, a resident recently asked staff, "What is the difference between faith and hope?" It was a meaningful discussion and afterwards she shared, "You know, before I came here, I feel like I knew of God and now I am growing to know him more personally."

These moments are treasured in the home and little did she know, she was speaking to our family scripture from Ephesians 3:14-21. In vs 19, Paul prays that they would "know the love of Christ which passes knowledge", and "be filled with all the fullness of God."  The highest purpose of Amira's House is to share the gospel with each mom. This is where healing and life transformation happen. What a beautiful journey she is on and it's your support that make it possible. Thank you!!!

Welcome Kelly Christian, our new

Program Director!!

Kelly is the founder and a current board member of a pregnancy center in Louisiana. After moving back to Texas, she felt called to serve locally on the frontlines, walking alongside moms and babies and sharing the hope of Christ. Having experienced unplanned teen pregnancies and seasons of deep trauma, Kelly’s life was transformed by God’s grace. Her passion now is to give back what she has received and to help women find healing, hope, and new life in Christ.
