Our Mission
Amira’s house is a nonprofit, privately funded, Christian organization that provides housing and comprehensive program services for expectant moms ages 18+ from pregnancy through the first year of life. The purpose of our ministry is to provide a safe family environment enriched with opportunities to help young women overcome the past, embrace the present, and prepare for the future. Services provided include Christ-centered spiritual and emotional guidance, parenting classes, life skills training, and education and career development.
Our Ministry
Our desire is to care for expectant young moms in an accepting and non-judgmental environment that meets the unique needs associated with her young age and vulnerable circumstances. We believe that this time in her life is an opportunity to demonstrate Christ’s love, grace and character while meeting her practical needs and those of her newborn baby. We believe that a renewed or newfound relationship with God as Father, Son and Spirit, and a new sense of identity in Christ, bring the power to annihilate shame and fear in her life. As she learns who she is in Christ and experiences the revelation of the love of the Father, she will be equipped for healthy relationships and success in parenting, becoming all she was created to be.
